Description
The Battery Tender® 10 AMP solar panel controller delivers efficient PWM charging to increase battery life and improve performance. Compact and easy to install, this advanced charge controller is designed for remote power solar applications and can be used with 12V and 24V, lead-acid and AGM batteries. Once hooked up, the controller will automatically detect the voltage of the battery and then begin regulating the charge from the connected solar panel.
The straightforward interface offers a charging LED that flashes during charging, and turns solid when fully charged. If there’s insufficient sunlight the LED will not illuminate. The 4-light battery voltage indicator tells you the battery’s charge level. And the error warning LED makes it easy to identify connection issues - green means no issues, red indicates a faulty connection. Comes with a USB output to support mobile device charging.

THREE-STAGE CHARGING:
- Initialization: determining correct connection, battery voltage and charge level
- Low Voltage Protection: when the battery drops below 10V, the output load will turn off and the battery will recharge
- Low Voltage Recovery Re-Engage: when the battery has charged back up to 12.5V, the output load will turn on
Safety features protect the battery from faults such as reverse connection, short circuit, and low voltage.
